My name is Katya Weaver and I teach fifth grade at LHECMES.  I have a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology and a Master of Elementary Education degree from the University of Mary Washington in Virginia.  Additionally, I am a nationally board-certified teacher.  I have taught second, third, and fifth grade in the past, and this year will be my 20th year teaching!  I have lived in North Carolina for 18 years now.  At home, I love making art, organizing, watching TV, and most of all spending time with my three daughters.
