Hello! My name is Angie Rash and I’m proud to be a Yates Mill Frog! I am excited to be starting my 11th year with my Yates Mill family!
I am from Shelby. North Carolina, and I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Appalachian State University and later attended William Peace University and obtained my teaching license. I am certified to teach Regular Education, grades K-6, and Special Education, grades K-12. I am passionate about having an opportunity to help young learners grow socially, academically and emotionally. My goal is to create a learning environment where that growth happens through positive, fun and engaging experiences.
When I am not at Yates Mill, I enjoy spending time with my husband Fred, our two daughters Elli (26) and Erica (17) and our adorable dog Sully. We spend a great deal of our time watching our youngest complete in Cross Country and track for her high school. I also enjoy running, yoga, watersports and spending time with friends and family. We love traveling to different places and spend as much time in the mountains and beach as we can. I look forward to getting to know your family this year!
