My name is Sherin Ibraheem. I was born and raised in Egypt, where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in German Language in 2000. I have been living in the United States since February 2017, and this is my sixth year in Wake County.

My professional journey began as an instructional assistant in a self-contained classroom, where I spent three years. I then transitioned to working with the second-grade team for two years. Now, I have returned to my true passion: working with exceptional students, following the completion of my teacher licensure.

Being around children brings me immense joy. I am deeply passionate about supporting them, watching them grow, and reminding them every day that they are loved and valued. Their smiles truly make my day, and I strive to create a warm and caring environment to empower students to reach their full potential. 

 I live with my husband and our four wonderful children. In my free time, I love taking walks and appreciating the beauty that surrounds us. The sight of a sunset reminds me that every ending holds the promise of a new beginning, and the peaceful sky helps me relax and recharge, ready for the challenges of the next day.

 I'm originally from Georgia and moved to North Carolina 12 years ago with my family. I’ve been working with Wake County Schools for several years now, specializing in special education. My background is uniquely diverse—I initially trained in Cardiovascular Technologies and also have a strong foundation in Culinary Arts. Over time, I’ve earned certifications in various areas related to education, continually expanding my skills and knowledge.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, cooking, and riding my motorcycle. I'm also an animal lover—I share my home with four dogs, two cats, a snake, and several chickens. I firmly believe that learning never stops, and I always find joy in discovering something new.
