This truly has been an amazing school year! We wish everyone a restful and relaxing summer break!  Please continue to have your child read each night. Research shows that reading for 20 minutes daily increases students' exposure to words by one million, which increases vocabulary and comprehension skills. 

 

Report Cards

Please be sure to review your child’s report card. If you have any questions, please email teachers by Tuesday the 28th. After that date, they will be on summer break.

 

If your child was absent on the last day of school and did not receive a report card, please arrange to pick it up at PME.  

 

Strawbridge Pictures

Individual pictures were sent home on May 6th. 88 students have not returned or paid for them. Please return the pictures and pay online or in person as soon as possible. To pay online, go to: strawbridge.net The code is FM4230841274. This is a fundraiser for PME. 

 

School meal price increase for the 2024-25 school year

The WCPSS school board approved a 25-cent price increase for school meals for the 2024-25 school year. At elementary schools, full-paid breakfasts will increase 25 cents to $1.75, and full-paid lunches will increase 25 cents to $3.50. The price increase is necessary to cover the rising costs of food, supplies, wages, and staff benefits.

Register your child for camp, ages 6-11, for Summer X-Press at a community center near you. Spaces are limited, so secure your spot now!
