Interims

Interims will be sent home today. Interims provide you with insight into your child's academic progress this quarter. Please review this feedback and contact your child's teacher with any questions or concerns. 

 

End of Grade Assessments (EOGs) 

Please note that EOGs are scheduled to begin on May 13th for grades 3-5. Ensure your child gets the proper amount of sleep, between 9 and 10 hours, eats a nutritious breakfast, and arrives at school on time.

 

Teacher Appreciation Week Activities - May 6th-10th

Please consider honoring the teachers and staff who work so hard daily to meet your child's needs. The PTA has planned various activities to help you show this appreciation:

Monday - Send in Teacher Sweet 

Wednesday- Parent Volunteer Opportunity to Cover Recess/Lunch Duty

Friday- Send in a Flower/Thank You Note

 

Attendance

PME continues to work on improving student attendance and late arrivals with a popsicle treat incentive. We appreciate your diligence in ensuring your child is at school each day, ready to learn.

 

Educational Leave 

As a reminder, please submit the appropriate education form five days in advance when requesting educational Leave for your child. Educational Leave is subject to Senior Administrator approval. When determining approval, we consider the event, the number of days requested, and your child's current attendance. If you need a form, please see your child's teacher. 

 

Homecoming May 9th!

PME families are invited to attend our Homecoming Celebration on Thurs., May 9th, from 5 to 7 pm. We will have food trucks and activities. Alumni Registration is open. Admission is free, but donations are appreciated.
