Greeting Husky Families,
The second week of school was a success, and it is time for a long weekend. Students are off Monday for Labor Day and Tuesday for a teacher workday. So, school will resume on Wednesday, September 8.
Please remind your HHS child(ren) that we will move to our regular bell schedule next week now that we have completed the first ten days of school. So, students should report to first period on Wednesday, September 8. The bell schedule is available at this link and is posted on our website.
We are looking for a few new Huskies to serve in the role of Instructional Assistants in our Special Education Extended Content Standards classrooms. Typical work day hours are 6:55-2:25 daily. Please share with someone you believe may make a great addition to the Heritage Husky Family. Interested candidates should apply to the position posted on the WCPSS Careers website.
Also, we have a need for substitute teachers. If you are already a registered substitute with WCPSS, call our main office and let us know you are interested in working on our campus. If you are not yet in the WCPSS substitute system, please go to https://www.wcpss.net/subs to learn more about becoming a substitute teacher with WCPSS.
