Dear Rand Road Families, 

Good afternoon! This is Tammy Carey, your Principal, with your weekly message. I hope everyone is enjoying the beautiful weather this weekend!

Here are the events for this week.

Our final PTA Meeting for this school year is on Tuesday, June 11, at 6:00pm. Elections for next year’s PTA Board will be that evening. We are looking for maximum participation from all current PTA members as we finish and celebrate the accomplishments of this school year and set the stage for next year!

Wednesday is an important day for our 3^rd, 4^th, and 5^th graders as they take their NC Reading EOG. Please make sure your child is well rested, has breakfast (at home or school) and is on time. The students have worked hard, and we are confident they are ready! Please help share the message: “Not stress, just take your time and do your best!”

On Friday, PreK is hosting “Donuts with Dudes” for their students from 9:00 – 9:30. Also, on Friday, our Kindergartners will present a Letterland Parade for us! Kindergarten parents and families are welcome to come and cheer them on. You will have prime viewing from the front lobby and main hall by the cafeteria, which is reserved for you!

As we look into next week, please remember that there is no school for students next Wednesday, June 19, as we celebrate and commemorate the Federal holiday of Juneteenth National Independence Day.
