Weekly Message from Ms. Jones
Good evening. This is Rhonda Jones, the proud principal of Rand Road Elementary School. Today, as I consider all that is going on in the world, I must say that I am truly grateful for this moment in time and for each of you. We find ourselves continuing to face different challenges but we are stronger every day. As you have seen and heard, there are more positive cases of COVID all around us. We are doing our part to reduce exposures but we need your help. Please send students to school with masks, not gaiters, that fit snugly around the nose and chin. We are reviewing all aspects of the school day and making adjustments to reduce the number of exposed students. We want our students in school as much as possible as we believe in-person learning is best for most elementary-aged students. Thank you for your support. Please accept my apology. Last week I shared incorrect information regarding interims. They will actually be sent home this week. Also, look for the picture packet to come home with information regarding how you can purchase school pictures. Students will take pictures this Thursday so be sure to send them with their best smile. Finally, I want to acknowledge all that you’re doing to support your children as we continue to navigate these uncertain times. It is not easy for most but it is worth it for our children. Have a restful evening.
