Weekly Message from Ms. Jones
Week of December 16
Good evening. This is Rhonda Jones, the proud principal of Rand Road Elementary School. We
are in our final week of 2019 and while we are preparing for the break ahead, this is still an
important week of instruction as we wrap up the 2nd quarter of the school year and finish
mid-year assessments. For the Positivity Project, we will be focusing on having self-control.
This week we will be recognizing our students and their accomplishments during our Level up and
PBIS celebrations. Parents, be sure to look in your child’s Tuesday folder for their assignment
strip indicting their assigned school for next year. Lastly, thank you in advance to everyone for
your generosity in signing up to share goodies for the staff tomorrow and for all of your
expressions of love throughout this week. Your acts of kindness are greatly appreciated. May
you have a wonderful holiday full of love and joy and may the new year be even brighter.
Anyone interested in volunteering this year must re-register every year to volunteer in Wake County Public Schools. Computers are available in the Media Center to complete your volunteer registration.
