Good afternoon! This is Tammy Carey, your Principal, with your weekly message. I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!

continues this week through Friday. Remember, all students will receive at least one book. If at least 60% of the class registers, the teacher receives a $100 shopping spree for school supplies. If 100% of the class registers, the teacher will receive a $200 shopping spree! It’s another great way to show your teacher your appreciation!

Parents, Qtr. 4 interims will go home this week, be on the lookout for these and contact your child’s teacher with any questions.

On Wednesday, our 5^th graders will take their final Science NC Check-In. Also, on that day, from 10:30-11:30, we will have Kindergarten orientation for incoming Kindergarten students for the 2024-2025 school year.

Thursday will be our May PBIS celebration during specials.

Last week, our fifth grade students explored Washington, DC. Thank you to our amazing 5^th grade teachers, Ms. Webb and Mr. Casasanto, our student counselor, Ms. Irving as well as fantastic chaperones who made the trip a positive adventure.

Our Girls on the Run group had a great showing at the 5K on Saturday. Thank you to our coaches, Ms. Webb, Ms. McDougal, Ms. Russell, and Ms. Kennedy for starting this program for our girls.
