Good afternoon! This is Tammy Carey, your Principal, with your weekly message. I hope you are enjoying some quiet and rest this rainy Sunday.

We had an amazing time at the Spring Carnival yesterday! Thankfully, the rain held out till our fun was done. Thank you to everyone who worked on the preparation, sent items in, volunteered, and helped clean up this extravaganza! A special shout out to all the school staff who volunteered at the dunk booth. It was above and beyond your dedication is commendable! Thank you also to all the families who came and participated in the event.  Over $4000 was raised thanks to your support!

Thank you to all families that have returned the family survey. Your voice is important, and we want to engage all families. Please return the paper survey in the envelope provided or use the QR code and complete the survey online. Thank you for your time. As a reminder, the purpose of the survey is to:

• Support school sites in creating and strengthening partnerships with families
• Strengthen family engagement to support strong student academic and social outcomes for students

The envelopes with the paper copies of the surveys are delivered to the office and sent to the company to be scanned for results. We will use the results to guide our family engagement efforts. Please contact the main office if you have any questions.

We have multiple field trips this week. Thank you to the parents who are chaperoning. It is exciting that students have these opportunities to participate in these great activities. Thank you to the PTA for contributing to the cost of the charter buses to reduce the cost for all students.

Thursday, May 9, is Sibling Picture Day. Order forms will go home on Monday if they were not already sent on Friday. Order forms for the yearbook also went home last week. Yearbooks can be purchased for $15 online until May 31^st.
