These pictures will be used in the yearbook! If you miss the day or don’t like your picture, retakes will be held on Tuesday, December 3.

 

RCMMS & WCPSS to Conduct Annual BIMAS Universal Screening Survey

Our district is using the Behavior Intervention Monitoring Assessment System-2 (BIMAS-2) research-based screening tool. We believe this will help all of our students thrive academically by identifying students who may benefit from additional social and emotional supports and interventions, much like some students benefit from additional academic supports and interventions.

School Improvement Plan Parent Representative Needed

Parents, are you looking for a way to get involved at RCMMS? Consider joining our School Improvement Team. The purpose of school improvement is to improve achievement and outcomes for every student. Our team meets one afternoon a month from 3:30-4:30. If you are interested in being the parent representative on the RCMMS School Improvement Team, please email Karla James (kjames@wcpss.net) for more information.

 

RCMMS PTA Week at the Creek

Campus Clean-Up Day has been postponed to Saturday, October 5 at 8 a.m. All students and families are welcome. We will spread mulch, weed and spruce up athletic fields. Bring gloves, rakes and wheelbarrows. The annual Reflections arts competition is accepting entries through October 11; entry forms are linked in the full newsletter. The annual Creek Games are coming on Tuesday, October 15, 5-7:30 p.m. Free fun for the whole family. More details and dinner pre-order forms will be distributed the week of Sept. 30.
