PBIS SOAR Shop Donations Needed This Week
Let's spread some positivity for our students! The PBIS team is asking for your help. These incentives will be offered to students as a positive way to encourage students to follow the Reedy Creek SOAR expectations--Safety, Ownership, Achievement, and Respect. The raffle and prize cart really help to motivate our students to continue to do their best. Please consider donating gift cards to various places for our school wide raffle which will be held quarterly. Also, please consider making donations to the SOAR SHOP! This is a place where students can spend their SOAR tickets to buy cool, exciting prizes. Please consider donating to make this year's PBIS incentives a success!!

SSA- Single Subject Acceleration
Single Subject Acceleration (SSA) is the practice of placing a student in a higher-grade level in one subject area. This type of acceleration is for the purpose of providing access to appropriately challenging learning opportunities in either Math or English Language Arts.
The SSA Test Request Window opens April 1 for all traditional schools. For more information about SSA, check out the WCPSS SSA page and/or watch the RCMMS SSA Parent Information Video. Still have questions? Attend one of the RCMMS Google Meet Q&A sessions.

Highlights from the PTA
Scholastic Book Fair
The Scholastic Book Fair will be held April 15-22 in the Media Center. We need volunteers to help provide this opportunity to our students! Please email bookfairrcmms@gmail.com if you're able to help or have any questions!
8th Grade Dance
The 8th Grade Dance will be held on Friday, May 17th from 6-8 pm at RCMMS. Please email presrcmms@gmail.com if you'd like to help with the planning for this event!
