OCE’s First Mate program is back! This special program is an opportunity for dads, uncles, grandfathers and father-figures to spend more time in our school helping in classrooms, playing at recess and doing odd jobs around the building. Studies have shown that the presence of males in elementary schools has numerous benefits, but they are an underrepresented volunteer group. At Olive Chapel, we want to change that.
