We're excited to offer a new volunteer opportunity for the men in our community.

The OCE First Mate program is an opportunity for dads, father figures, uncles, grandfathers, etc... to spend significant amounts of time in our school. First Mates will read in classrooms, assist at lunch, interact with students during recess and so much more!

This program specifically targets a group that is statistically less likely to volunteer in schools.

While we would love volunteers to stay a full day, we understand that other commitments may not allow this. Half-day slots are also available.
