What a wonderful week with the book fair, our first Special Persons’ Breakfast and, of course, the Drama Club’s incredible production of Alice in Wonderland! Please see some important school updates and reminders below.

 

Dress Code Reminder

I have not consistently enforced our dress code and wanted to send a friendly reminder, specifically regarding hats, that can be found on page 8 of our OCE Student-Parent Handbook. Starting Monday, we will begin enforcing this rule consistently. I will have teachers remind our students to put their hats away, but a reminder from you would also help. 

 

International Night Registration

If you are interested in being a part of our first ever OCE International Night on April 15th from 6:00-7:30 pm, please register here: International Night Registration. Filling out this form is required to participate. Participating students will be showcased on the morning news!

 

Growth Mindset Newsletter

Please read our Quarter 3 Growth Mindset Parent Newsletter to learn more about what your students are working on to develop their growth mindset in school. We appreciate your support in generalizing these growth mindset skills at home.

 

Spring Book Fair

Our annual Spring Book Fair continues through next week! The fair will run from March 10 through March 14. You can find more information about the book fair, including how to set up your student’s e-wallet, here.

 

Special Persons’ Breakfast

Our final OCE Special Persons’ Breakfast of the year is next Thursday, March 13. This is a wonderful opportunity for your student to invite a special person in their life - whether it’s a grandparent, aunt or uncle, neighbor - to have breakfast with them at our school.Click here to register.

The 24/25 OCE yearbook is available for order through April 5! It's an entire year of memories all wrapped up in one amazing book! Click here to place your order today! Lunch Volunteers Needed
