Parent Update 5/17/24

 

OCE Families,

 

Next week we start End of Grade Testing for grades 3-5 on Track 1. For those testing, please make sure they get a good night’s rest and come ready to tackle the EOGs. The whole school will operate on a different schedule during testing weeks. Here is the Whole School EOG Schedule.

 

Here are the testing days for track one:

  • Monday, 5/20- 3rd Grade ELA & 5th Grade Science
  • Tuesday, 5/21- 3rd Grade Math & 5th Grade Math
  • Wednesday, 5/22- 4th Grade ELA
  • Thursday, 5/23- 5th Grade ELA
  • Friday, 5/24- 4th Grade Math

 

Critical Need for Volunteers

During the 23-24 End of Grade (EOG) testing, we are in desperate need of volunteers. Please consider volunteering below:

 

Track 1 sign-ups:

  • May 20-31 - EOG Testing window for 3-5 grades- Track 1
  • May 27- NO SCHOOL-HOLIDAY
  • June 3- Sail Up Ceremony at 10:30 a.m.- 5th Grade Track 1
  • June 3- Last day of school- Track 1
  • June 19- NO SCHOOL- TEACHER WORKDAY
  • June 12-25 - EOG Testing window for 3-5 grades- Track 2, 3, and 4
  • June 26- Sail Up Ceremony at 10:30 a.m.- 5th Grade Tracks 2 & 3
  • June 26- Sail Up Ceremony at 1:30 p.m.- 5th Grade Track 4
  • June 26- Last day of school- Tracks 2, 3, and 4

 

24-25 Dates:

  • July 3- Meet the Teacher for Tracks 1, 2, and 3 (1st-5th grades)--
    • 12:30 p.m. - Track 1
    • 1:45 p.m. - Track 2
    • 2:45 p.m. - Track 3
  • July 8- First Day of School for Tracks 1, 2, and 3 (1st-5th grades)
  • July 23- Open House for Tracks 1,2 & 3 
  • July 26- Meet the Teacher- Track 4 (1st-5th grades)
    • 4:30- 5:30 p.m. Track 4 
  • July 29- First Day of School for Track 4 (1st-5th grades)
  • August 13- Open House for Track 4
