We had a great week at OCE! Believe it or not, we are already starting to plan for the 24-25 school year and can use your help with the following:

Do you have plans to leave OCE in the upcoming months? Please let us know by filling out this survey if you are changing schools or moving: 24-25 Planning Form. Knowing if we have open spots can help us potentially grant another student a track change request or give a wait listed student a spot at OCE. This information really helps us plan, so thank you in advance for doing this!

Do you have a rising kindergarten student? If so, please do not forget to register them so they get a spot at OCE! The deadline for sibling enrollments to get a spot at our school is March 1st. Go here to register kindergarten students.

Reading Challenge:
We would love to invite all K-5 students to participate in a school-wide reading challenge. The students who read a variety of books and turn their reading log into the office will receive $10 in Clipper Cash from me! A form should be in your Friday Folder, but you can find a digital copy here: Whole School Reading Challenge.

Upcoming whole school events:
OCE is Hosting a Science Fair and STEM Night on February 15th from 6:00-7:30 p.m. All students and families are welcome to attend the Science Fair and STEM Night, regardless of your participation in the Science Fair. We would love to see you there!

The PTA is hosting a Valentine’s Dance on February 22nd for K-2 students and February 23rd for 3-5 students. This is meant for OCE students and a special adult in their lives. This is not a drop-off event. Please find the details here: PTA Dance Night. We hope to see you there!
