Parents,

I am excited to share that Mrs. Ashley Charles was appointed to assistant principal at OCE with a start date of July 18th. This was a quick decision made, as Mrs. Charles was the runner up in our April assistant principal search. Our leadership team loved her and so when the search began for an assistant principal, I was thrilled to find out she was still interested in working at OCE.

Mrs. Charles (formerly Ms. Purgason) was our school administration intern in 2017 and built great connections in the year she was with us. We personally had a great relationship, and I always admired her hard work and the special education perspective she brought to our team. I am excited to welcome her back to OCE!
