A long-standing Mills Park tradition is that the first Friday of the year is College Sports Day. If you do not have a favorite team, wear purple and gold for MPMS.
S.M.A.R.T. Block
S.M.A.R.T. Block: Students Maximizing Achievement, Relationships, and Time will occur during Exploratory Enrichment. This used to be the old Leopard Time which needed revamping based on staff and student feedback.
S.M.A.R.T. is an intentional period of our school day focused on providing strategic enrichment and intervention to our students based on individual needs. This time provides the opportunity for students to build relationships with peers and teachers, allows them to maximize their time while building social and academic skills, and extend their learning in order to grow their individual passions and goals.
Volunteer Updates
It is a good time to get a jump start on Volunteer Registration for the new school year. All 2023-24 approved volunteers received an email on July 1 from no-reply@criminalrecordcheck.com with a link to renew your approved volunteer status for the 2024-25 school year. It only takes a few minutes to renew.
If you are new to the process, please click on this link to create your account. If you have any issues during the renewal process, contact the MyVolunteer customer support team at 877-272-0266 or customercare@mycrc.com.
