Dr. Stephanie Raiford
Background:
Dr. Raiford has lived in North Carolina most of her life. She began her career as a high school Biology teacher and taught at several high schools before making the transition to an administrator. Dr. Raiford was a North Carolina Principal Fellow and began her administrative career as an Assistant Principal where she spent five years at Reedy Creek Middle School. She led Briarcliff Elementary, National Blue Ribbon School, as the Principal for seven years before moving to Mills Park Middle School in 2019. She lives in Cary with her husband and raised two children who attended WPCSS schools. Dr. Raiford loves being a part of the Mills Park community.

Why Did I Become a Teacher:
I became a teacher because I was inspired by my high school Chemistry teacher, Mr. Winfield. He made me love Science and I wanted to make a difference to students like he did for me.
