Principal Message, October 4, 2020

Good evening Leopards,

I hope you enjoyed your weekend! As we move into October, there are many things on the horizon and our goal is to ensure that families have information as it unfolds.

The WCPSS Board of Education has approved a plan in which students in grades 6, 7 and 8 who chose Plan B will return to school in three-week rotations beginning Nov. 9 and continue until the end of the semester. We are committed to opening safely and providing quality in-person instruction. The focus of the next Chat with the Principal will be for Plan-B families and what to expect coming back to school on October 29, 2020, at 6:00 P.M. The link will be shared closer to the date.

At MPMS, we are excited to host our first Spirit Week of the year as our Leopards show their SPOTS. The information was shared with students last week.

Monday- Meme Monday- Share a positive meme

Tuesday- Team Tuesday- Wear your favorite team gear (Mrs. Raiford will be representing the Wolfpack if there were any questions).

Wednesday- Woke up this way Wednesday- PJs

Thursday- Thank a Teacher Thursday

Friday- Feeling my SPOTS Friday- Wear MPMS wear, Purple or Gold, or even Leopard Print

Looking ahead to events coming up:

School Picture Days are coming soon!

Lifetouch will be at our school on October 14th and 15th.  Why are school pictures important?

  • School pictures preserve memories that last a lifetime
  • For safety and security purposes, is very important for your school to have the most recent image of your child uploaded to their student information system
  • Each year students look forward to being included in the yearbook
