Principal's Weekly Message - 3/23/25

Happy Sunday, Pride Families,

Kudos to our Honors Entrepreneurship Students!

This week, our Honors Entrepreneurship students participated in the District C Teamship Pitch Event, showcasing their creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Over the past few weeks, students worked in teams to tackle a real-world business challenge, engaging in critical thinking and innovative problem-solving. During the pitch event, they confidently presented their solutions to their business partner and guests, demonstrating their ability to think like entrepreneurs.

A huge thank you to our guest business partner, Runbin Dong, from Scale Social, and supporters for providing valuable feedback and encouragement. We are incredibly proud of our students for their hard work and dedication!

Career Fair Kudos!

Shout-out to Mrs. Andrews, our Career Development Coordinator, for organizing a successful Career Fair! With over 30 companies representing multiple sectors in attendance, our students had the incredible opportunity to explore potential careers, network with professionals, and even discover job opportunities.

We are deeply grateful to our business partners for their continued partnership and investment in our students' futures. A special thank you to the LRHS Business Alliance for their guidance and ongoing support in making events like this possible. Together, we're helping to open doors and build bright futures for our students!

Class Registration-PowerSchool is no longer active for students to make changes to their class selections for the next school year.  However, students will have a final opportunity to make changes during Advisory/Homeroom on this Wednesday, March 26.  Students may view their class selections, and if they wish to make adjustments, they will be given a class change form to complete during Advisory/Homeroom and return to their teacher. The School Counselors will process these changes.  If the student is content with their class selections, there is no action for them to take.
