• About Our School

    Leesville Road High School is a high-performing comprehensive high school with nationally recognized academic, athletic, and fine arts programs. It is one of 31 high schools in the Wake County Public School System, the largest school system in the state.


    Leesville Road High School will provide a relevant and engaging education and will graduate students who are collaborative, creative, effective communicators, and critical thinkers.


    Leesville Road High School staff, alongside families and other community members, will provide diverse learners with a safe, equitable, and engaging learning environment. In collaboration with their Professional Learning Communities, teachers will plan and facilitate standards-aligned learning experiences that spark each student’s interest to achieve success and pursue learning beyond the classroom. Students will be accountable partners in their learning and will graduate from Leesville Road High School as critical thinkers with the necessary skills to achieve their academic and personal goals.
