Theatre Ensemble presents student-directed scenes on Monday, January 6th, at 6:30 pm in the LRHS auditorium. Five members of the ensemble are directing their peers in scenes from Blithe Spirit, A Raisin in the Sun, The Importance of Being Earnest, Of Mice and Men, and The Crucible. Comedies of manners and classic dramas! Rated PG-13 for mild language and some adult themes. Tickets can be purchased at the door or online at www.leesville.booktix.com.

The LRHS Dance Department invites you to their Winter Concert on January 9th at 7 pm. Enjoy various styles of dance performed by Beginning dance, Intermediate dance, and Dance Ensemble. Leesville Road High School's Fall Semester Final Exam Schedule: 

Exams will take place from January 13th to January 17th, 2025. You can find the final exam schedule here: https://bit.ly/LRHSFall24examschedule. The final exam counts for 20% of each student's final grade for all courses, including End-of-Course (EOC) exams, Career and Technical Education (CTE) assessments, and teacher-made exams. All students must take these exams on campus. A list of the exams is available in the final exam schedule.

We will have a modified schedule on January 13th, 14th, and 15th, and students will be dismissed at 1:15 pm. On January 13th, students will take the English II, Math I, and Math III EOCs. Biology students will take their EOC during their assigned class period.

If your student is taking an EOC or CTE exam, please make sure they bring their fully charged WCPSS laptop. Testing on personal devices is not allowed. Please contact your student's teacher directly for questions about teacher-made exams, exam exemptions, or attendance.

 

LRHS Pride Athletic Club (PAC) Announcements

Happy New Year from the PAC! We are happy to share just a few accomplishments from 2024 made possible through donations and fundraisers.:

• An increase in corporate sponsorships for our school athletic programs to include a generous donation of $4,000 from Vertical Raise and similar donation from EmergeOrtho along with volunteer training support.
• New storage sheds for sporting equipment
• New weight room equipment/upgrades
• New gym sound system/upgrade
• New tennis wind screens/upgrade 

Concessions Committee Chair Vacancy

We are looking for two volunteers to co-chair the PAC Concessions Committee. This role is critical to ensuring concessions are available at home sporting events. The PAC Concessions chair is responsible for inventory, equipment, and payments/petty cash reconciliation. Various teams are responsible for staffing concession shifts with volunteers throughout the year. For more information or to express interest, please email lrhspacsecretary@gmail.com.
