This is Ian Solomon, Principal of Leesville Road High School sharing the latest news and upcoming events.

 

 

 

Leesville Road High School Teacher of the Year

I am pleased to announce that Mrs. Elizabeth Tibbetts has been selected by her colleagues to represent Leesville Road High School as the 2021-2022 Teacher of the Year. We wish Mrs. Tibbetts luck as she is considered to represent the Wake County Public School System as the Teacher of the Year for the entire district.

 

 

 

Thanksgiving Holiday

Students and staff will begin the Thanksgiving vacation break Wednesday, November 24. Instruction resumes Monday, November 29.

 

 

 

Navigating High School 101 (repeat)

Parents of Sophomores and Freshmen Please join the Student Services Department on Thursday, November 18th at 6:30 pm for a Virtual Workshop on helping your students navigate the ins and outs of high school. Topics will include: Academic Planning Post-Secondary Planning

Afternoon Sign-out Procedures (repeat)

Please be reminded that if you need to check your student out in the afternoon that you try and do so before 1:30 pm to avoid the carpool line- up.
