"School counselors design and deliver comprehensive school counseling programs that promote student achievement. These programs are comprehensive in scope, preventive in design and developmental in nature." (ASCA) The counseling program at River Oaks Middle School is a collaborative effort between the school counselors, school psychologist, school social worker, school nurse, data manager, teachers, administrators, parents and the community to promote student achievement and success.

ROMS Food Pantry for families in need:
Call Mr. Burton to make an appointment to come in and receive one box of food twice a month every two weeks . The appointment times are Monday thru Friday morning, 8:00 am to 10:30 am and afternoons, Monday thru Friday, 12:00 noon to 1:30 pm.
Food pick-up will be by appointment only.
