LaTreesha Register

  • Dear Trojan Family,

I am thrilled to introduce myself as the new principal of North Garner Middle School. It is an honor and privilege to join this esteemed educational institution and have the opportunity to work with such dedicated and talented individuals.

Allow me to share a little about my background. My family is composed of my husband, Kevin our four awesome children, as well as two precious granddaughters. We also have a larger than life fur baby that keeps us super busy, our dog Izzy!

I have had the privilege of being an educator for over 20 years in a variety of capacities, including Instructional Assistant, Bus Driver, Middle School Teacher, Department Chair, Interventionist, Adjunct Instructor, Elementary, Middle, and High School Assistant Principal. I received my BA, MAEd, and MSA all from Fayetteville State University. Go Broncos!

I am an instructional and visionary leader with a passion for “maintaining the best interest of students as my primary driving force in all decisions that are made.” I am extremely dedicated to my work in being a student and teacher advocate.

As the new principal, my primary goal is to ensure that every student receives an exceptional education while feeling supported, valued, and empowered to reach their full potential. I strongly believe in collaboration, open communication, and fostering a positive school culture where everyone's voice is heard and respected.

I am also excited to engage with parents and guardians, as their partnership is vital to the success of our students. Together, we can create a strong support network that fosters the holistic development of each child.

In the coming weeks, I will be scheduling individual meetings with each staff member to introduce myself personally and gain valuable insights into your experiences and aspirations for our school. I am genuinely interested in your thoughts and ideas, as we embark on this journey together to provide the best possible education for our students.

Please feel free to reach out to me at lregister@wcpss.net. I look forward to begin this remarkable chapter of our Trojan Pride journey together.

    Best regards,

    LaTreesha Register
