She is passionate about equity in the classroom and is grateful for the priority that Hortons Creek places on this within their community. Mrs. Abraham loves that she has a front-row seat to the progress and development - social, emotional, and academic - of the “future leaders” of our world. When not at school, you will find her with her husband, Josh, extended families and friends. She loves to cook (and eat!), play games, and laugh. In her free time, Ms. Ariosa loves to travel with her significant other and see the world and most recently visited India in July. She enjoys being active, preferably outdoors - walking, hiking, running, or a Zumba or fitness class. She also loves to sing, and has participated in church choirs, a band, and was a cast member in the Raleigh Memorial and DPAC’s annual “A Christmas Carol” for the 2016 and 2017 seasons. She enjoys attending Interplay groups, which is a form of improv, utilizing movement, storytelling, and singing, created in the moment. She has two grown children whom she adores.
