Ms. Alston
Brianca Alston is excited to return to Hortons Creek Elementary as a Kindergarten Teacher. Ms. Alston is a proud alumnus of Winston-Salem State University and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Birth-Kindergarten Education and has K-6 licensure. Ms. Alston has taught for 10 years, five of those years in Kindergarten and the rest in 1st and 2nd grade. She is an advocate for developmentally appropriate practices and believes that all students can learn and grow. Outside of teaching, Ms. Alston loves reading, singing, and hanging out with family and friends. She is looking forward to an amazing year!

Ms. De Gourville-Johnson
Ms. DeGourville-Johnson is excited about returning to Hortons Creek this school year. She is in her 12th year in education. She and her husband have 3 beautiful children aged 10, 7, and 3. She is a graduate of UNC-Greensboro with her Bachelor's and Master's degree in Birth-Kindergarten and a PMC in School Administration. Ms. De Gourville-Johnson is passionate about building positive relationships with her students and their families to foster a supportive classroom community. In her spare time, Ms. DeGourville-Johnson loves to spend her time with her family!

Ms. Dickerson
Kelly Dickerson is in her eleventh year teaching and her seventh year at Hortons Creek. She has experience teaching both preschool and kindergarten. She graduated with her undergraduate degree in Child Development from Meredith College. She received her B-K and K-6 teaching licensures from UNC-Greensboro as well as her Master’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in Education and Development in Birth-Kindergarten. She is a National Board Certified Teacher. She is also a level 1 and level 2 Google Certified Educator. Mrs. Dickerson is passionate about children’s play and was able to study it abroad in Italy during her time at Meredith College! Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her husband Jordan, her son Darr, and her friends and family. She enjoys reading, traveling, trying new restaurants, and doing Pure Barre. She is excited to be a part of the kindergarten team! -
Ms. Elazouazi
Hanane Elazouazi is excited about returning to Hortons Creek Elementary and has finished teaching her second year at Horton Greek Elementary, where she taught kindergarten. Mrs. Elazouazi has a bachelor's in literature and a master's degree in teaching from North Carolina State University. She is also a level 1 Google Certified Educator. Mrs. Elazouazi has lived in Holly Springs for 14 years along with her husband and 3 kids, and she knows that successful students become successful adults and strive to make all her students successful.

Ms. Trbovich
Ms.Trbovich is excited and honored to join the Hortons Creek Elementary Family teaching kindergarten. She grew up in Cary, North Carolina and graduated from East Carolina University with a degree in Birth through Kindergarten Education. When not teaching Ms. Trbovich enjoys taking walks, going to the beach, skiing, crafting, and spending time with family, friends, and her two dogs. She looks forward to creating an inclusive classroom community where students feel welcome, safe, and excited to learn.
