    Talking Points App

Many of our staff will communicate with families using the Talking Points App. Here is a link on how to access this app. If prompted for a 10 digit id for your child, please use their 10 digit student id number. Please reach out to your teacher for further support.

Apply for free and reduced-price school meals

To receive free or reduced-price meals for the 2023-24 school year, families must submit a meal benefits application online at MySchoolApps.com. Paper copies are available at our school’s office. For families who completed the 2022-23 meal benefits application, the benefit continues for their student's first 30 school days of the 2023-24 school year. At elementary schools, full-paid breakfast will be $1.50 and lunch will be $3.25.

    Bus Update

Please note that WCPSS Transportation is currently experiencing a shortage of bus drivers, which will likely affect coverage of routes. There may be days your child does not have bus transportation. Bus updates will also be posted online each morning and afternoon in the event of bus delays or cancellations. We will also tweet bus updates (@FPDES) and send a School Messenger. Parents are also strongly encouraged to download and use the “Here Comes the Bus” app to track their child’s bus.  You can find information about the app here:  https://www.wcpss.net/Page/35380

If you have not registered for the bus, you can do so at the following link:  https://www.wcpss.net/busrider
