As part of new state legislation, all 10th grade students are required to complete a Career Development Plan (CDP) in order to be promoted to 11th grade. The plan includes career exploration activities, a high school academic plan, and the development of a personalized career path. These plans are created using the MajorClarity platform, which students access through their WakeID. MajorClarity offers financial resources, a resume builder, and micro-credentials as well. Students will complete Career Development Plans in the English classes with Ms. O'Brien in their sophomore year using the following instructions: Career Development Plan Instructions.

All completed Career Development Plans will be emailed home at the end of the year from the MajorClarity platform, from the email address support@majorclarity.com. Please note that the courses listed in the plan are not official course registration requests; they are intended to assist students with academic planning. Students are encouraged to select courses that align with their identified career interests, as the plans serve as a guide for future academic and career decisions.
