What Is the Cary High Business Alliance? 

The Business Alliance is a collaborative partnership between local business leaders and educators at Cary High School. Its mission is to support teachers and students by offering real-world workplace insights and to engage businesses and community organizations in preparing students to be career-ready and globally competitive.

By sharing career and life experience, business leaders help connect classroom learning to future careers, making education more relevant for students. The alliance meets every other month to develop action steps aligned with Cary High School’s improvement plan.

Beyond direct involvement, members also use their professional networks to connect students with valuable resources and opportunities they might not otherwise have.

How Can I Get Involved?

Business Alliance members volunteer their time for a variety of career-related events and activities, including career fairs, mock interviews, resume reviews, job shadowing, guest speaking in classrooms, and Lunch & Learn sessions. Participation is flexible and based on each member's availability and professional interests or expertise.
