Dillard Drive Center for Global Studies and Spanish Immersion Elementary School (DDMES) is committed to fostering a diverse and vibrant learning community that inspires students to make a positive impact on the world. Through the intentional integration of global content across all subject areas, we nurture students’ natural curiosity about how the world works and their role in it.

To enhance cultural awareness and communication skills, all students at DDMES receive year-round instruction in a second language. Students in kindergarten through fifth grade who are not part of the Spanish Immersion cohort may choose between Spanish and French.

Our Spanish Immersion Program is designed to cultivate bilingualism and biliteracy by delivering core instruction in Spanish, with daily English literacy lessons beginning in second grade.

At DDMES, we are dedicated to developing future leaders with global mindsets and strong language skills—prepared to thrive in and contribute to diverse communities around the world.
