Our global learners explore the world, embrace diverse perspectives, and take meaningful action. We create an inclusive learning community that inspires students to make a positive global impact. Our curriculum integrates global content across all subjects, sparking curiosity about different cultures, historical events, and current global issues.
Students develop strong communication skills in a world language, gaining an academic advantage. They learn Spanish or French through year-round electives, with 90 minutes of instruction each week. Spanish Immersion students do not attend these electives.
In the Spanish Immersion program, students become fluent in Spanish while mastering core academic subjects. This immersive approach builds bilingualism and biliteracy. English literacy instruction begins in second grade, ensuring complete language development.
We’ve been named a National Merit School of Excellence by Magnet Schools of America, the national association for magnet and theme-based schools.
This award recognizes top magnet schools in the U.S. for their commitment to academic excellence, innovative curricula, diversity efforts, and high-quality education. Only a select group of schools receive this honor for outstanding performance in all areas of the merit award application.
