Heroes Read: 

In this program, volunteers read one-on-one with students in order to instill a love of reading and build strong mentor/student relationships. Students are also able to take books home in order to build their home libraries. The program will be offered multiple times throughout the school week during school hours. This program begins the week of 10/1.

Schedule:

Mondays: 11:30-12:00 (greatest need)

Tuesday: 11:30-12:30 (greatest need)

Fridays: 12:45-1:50

Read a Book, Get a Book:

Through this program, volunteers will read with students one-on-one during morning arrival time (8:00-8:30). We are hoping to hold the reading session on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings depending on the number of volunteers we have. Students will also get books to take home in order to build their home libraries. The start date for this program is to be determined.
