A quick and orderly arrival and dismissal are important for the sucess of the school day.  Our students are not responsible for the driving, but their b ehavior as bus and van riders is crucial to keeping students and drivers safe.  We also expect students to be responsible for packing up and lining up for their vans and buses in an independent manner.

As a result bus and van riders at Aversboro are recognized for their 3R behavior!  Students who ride buses and vans are responsible for watching the screen for their bus or van dismissal and lining up quietly and in an ordely manner.  Our teachers and Instructional Assistants monitor the arrival and dismissal of students and appreciate when students follow our school wide behavior expectations.

Each week a bus and van of the week is chosen and featured on our daily news program.  The buses and vans with the most weekly recognition each quarter earn a special prize.  We hope for a close competition this year, and maybe need to award more than one bus and van!!
