Good evening, Aversboro families!  This is Mrs. Stuart calling with a few important updates and reminders.

Don’t forget that this week is Red Ribbon Week. I hope that you will join our spirit week festivities as we take a stand against bullying and drugs.  On Monday, we will all wear Red. On Tuesday, let’s put a lid on bullying and drugs and wear hats! Wednesday is crazy socks day, because it’s just crazy to take drugs or bully others.  Thursday of this week, we will put drugs and bullying to bed as we wear pajamas and school appropriate shoes.

As a reminder, Thursday is now a regular school day from the September 5 hurricane day, and Friday is a teacher workday.

We will have our first parent conference night on Thursday, November 14.  A flier will be coming home this week in your child’s bookbag. Please select three times that will work for you, and your child’s teacher will confirm the time that will be assigned to each family.  Dinner will be served, so please let us know how many will be attending. Feel free to call the front office with any questions.

I hope that you are enjoying the beautiful fall weather as much as I am!  Thank you for all that you do to support Aversboro Elementary School. Have a fantastic evening!
