At Wildwood Forest, the Student Council club is designed to promote student leadership throughout the school by providing a series of service projects that support our school and surrounding community. Service projects in past years have included the Backpack Buddies canned food drive, selling carnations to raise money to support field trips, and a Pennies for Pasta campaign to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Students in the third, fourth, and fifth grades have the ability to join the Student Council, and fifth graders may serve as officers of the council. Council members are elected by their classmates, and fifth grade officers are elected by the student council members. Starting in October, the council meets on the first Friday of each month at 8:00 am.
