Hello Huskies,
Monday, May 29, the school is closed for Memorial Day. I hope everyone has a great holiday weekend and celebrate those who have lost their lives protecting our freedom.
Access our final exam schedule here or on the homepage of our website.
Students enrolled in Math I, Math 3, English 2, and Biology will take the EOC State Test at the end of this semester. All students who pass an EOC tested course but score Non-Proficient on the EOC State Test will be eligible for a Remediation and Readministration opportunity, which includes both Fall and Spring Semesters. Should your child meet the criteria for the program, parents will receive an invitation for their child to attend the program after the EOC testing window closes for our school on Friday, June 9. The program dates are June 12 and 14. Transportation and meals will be provided.
We need your feedback. Help us make your child’s school experience as positive and beneficial as possible by giving honest, thoughtful responses to the questions in our family survey. Survey closes TODAY! Access the survey by going to bit.ly/WCPSSFamilySurvey

The Class of 2024 can now schedule their Senior Portrait for the yearbook by going to prestigeportraits.com/studio. Schedule for any time over the summer, but the best discounts are in June ($20 off) and July ($15 off). View more details by accessing this flyer.
Senior Specific Information:
Graduation will be here before we know it! Have a graduation related question? When can you pick up tickets? Get all the answers on our Graduation webpage here. Access Senior Send-Off slides here.
There will be a Baccalaureate Service just five minutes from HHS at North Wake Church (1212 S Main St., Wake Forest) on Sunday, June 11 from 2:00-3:00 pm. All welcome, and graduates should wear their cap and gown. There will be light refreshments following. Graduates should arrive with cap and gown by 1:45pm to line up for the procession. Coach Pat Kennedy will be the guest speaker.
Senior Day is Thursday, June 1. Senior Day includes mandatory graduation rehearsal, planned Senior-Only activities, lunch, honor graduate stoles/cords will be distributed, and more! Seniors should report to the Commons and find their Husky Headquarters teacher at 7:25am on June 1.
Mark your Calendar for Friday, June 2 at 8:00am for Awards Day. This is a special event to honor and recognize our graduates. Event will be held in the main gym.
Seniors with scholarship offers are asked to report them, whether they accept them or not, so that we may have an accurate accounting for the Class of 2023. The reporting form is located online and paper copies are available in Student Services.
From the PTSA:
The PTSA Annual Report can be found here. We appreciate your support and look forward to closing out the school year with Senior Day festivities, scholarship presentations, and a final faculty luncheon of 2022-23. We thank all of our Husky families for your membership, contributions and volunteer hours. We are grateful to play a role in enhancing the student and staff experience at Heritage High School. Thank you.
Warm regards,
Scott Lyons
