Adams Elementary has so much to be thankful for during this season.    We officially set a record with our fall book fair sales, and will be able to provide over $9,000 worth of books and materials for our media center and dream lab.    We have also had multiple Donors Choose grants fully funded because of the generosity of our families and community.   We can not thank you enough for your support.

Holiday Fair

This holiday season, we would like for our students to experience the beauty and joy of some of the remarkable cultures in our community. We would love to have  representatives from various cultures create a display and be available to answer questions from students during our“Holiday Fair”during school on our early release day, Monday, December 5th.

If you or a family member would be interested in representing a holiday from your culture, please contact Mrs. Haney or Mrs. Pilgreen by November 18th for more information.

Adams Elementary is one of 5  elementary school finalist for WRAL’s Voter Choice Awards!   The secret is out that Adam’s Elementary is an engaging, inclusive,  and dynamic school family. This is only because of the AMAZING staff that put student’s need first each day, as well as the families and community that generously supports our efforts. AVIATORS ROCK

Have you noticed the new spirit rock at Adams?  Be on the lookout for your chance to reserve the rock.  PTA will be sharing information soon on how you can reserve and decorate the rock for a full week starting in January. 

 

TRANSPORTATION INFORMATION

Stay updated on bus changes, delays, as well as arrival and departure times.   One way to keep updated is to follow our bus Twitter account.  @Adamsbusinfo   If you do not have a twitter account, don’t worry as you can view Twitter updates on the Adams homepage  www.wcpss.net/adamses.

You can also download the Here Comes the Bus App.  www.wcpss.net/herecomesthebus   You will need your child’s WCPSS ID number and the following district code: 67500.   This APP will allow you to follow where your child’s bus is along their route.

The Adams Elementary PTA provides our school with a number of resources that directly impact students and teachers.   The PTA provided teacher grants, supports after school clubs, and has helped transform a number of spaces including the Dream Lab, Music room, and Art room.   Please consider joining the PTA at  MemberHub

GRACIAS!

La escuela Adams tiene mucho que agradecer en esta temporada.  Oficialmente logramos un record con la venta de libros, se recaudaron más de $9,000 para comprar libros para la biblioteca y materiales para la clase de computación. También tuvimos bastantes fondos por la generosidad de las familias y comunidad por medio del programa  Donors Choose. Se les agradece mucho por su ayuda.

Feria Festiva

En esta temporada festiva, queremos que nuestros estudiantes experimenten la belleza y felicidad de muchas culturas de nuestra comunidad. Nos gustaría tener representantes de varias culturas que puedan presentar y contestar preguntas de nuestros estudiantes durante “La Feria Festiva” el Lunes 5 de Diciembre.

VOTE POR ADAMS - LA VOTACIÓN SE TERMINA EL 20 DE NOVIEMBRE

La escuela Adams es una de 5 escuelas elementales que son finalistas para los premios de elección de votantes del WRAL! La escuela Adams se destaca en incluir, mostrar dynamica, y comprometerse al torno familiar. Esto se debe a nuestro magnífico personal que pone las necesidades de nuestros estudiantes primero cada día, al igual que las familias y comunidad que generosamente nos ayudan en nuestros esfuerzos.Por favor vote por Adams en wral.com/vcas. LA ROCA DE LOS AVIADORES 

Se han dado cuenta de nuestra roca de espíritu de Adams? Estén al pendiente de la oportunidad de como reservar la roca. El  PTA  de la escuela va dar información de como reservar la roca para decorarla durante toda una semana a principios de Enero. 

 

INFORMACIÓN DEL TRANSPORTE

Manténgase al corriente de los cambios, tardanzas, y de los horarios de llegada e ida de los buses de la escuela. Una forma de hacerlo es por medio de la cuenta de Twitter   @Adamsbusinfo si no tiene cuenta puede hacerlo usando la página principal de la escuela  www.wcpss.net/adamses.

También puede hacerlo por medio de la aplicación  Here Comes the Bus App.  www.wcpss.net/herecomesthebus.  Usted necesita el número del estudiante y el código del distrito: 67500. Esta aplicación le permite ver dónde está el autobús escolar en ruta. 

 

UNIRSE AL PTA

El PTA provee a la escuela Adams con recursos que impactan directamente a los estudiantes y profesores. El  PTA provee préstamos para los maestros, ayuda con los clubs después de escuela, y ha ayudado con cambios en las aulas de computación, música y arte.
