School Supplies for 22-23

We will be providing school supplies for the 21-22 school year with the help of our PTA and Kirk of Kildaire. Each student needs to supply their own water bottle, earbuds, lunch box, and backpack (please label all items). Teachers will provide wish lists at Meet the Teacher.

Devices

Kindergarten students new to Briarcliff will receive a Chromebook as well as students who are eligible for an upgrade. These will be passed out to students during the first two weeks of school. Kindergarten devices will be kept at school. Students in 1st-5th will carry devices back and forth to school.

Address Changes

If you have moved over the summer please call the office and ask to speak with our Data Manager Cecilia Sanchez or email her  csanchezguerrero@wcpss.net.

TalkingPoints

Our classroom teachers will be utilizing TalkingPoints this year as the main tool for teacher-parent communication. Here is a brief overview of the tool.

Please take a moment to download the app and follow this guideline on how to set up your account.

Parents can also change the language on TalkingPoint. Follow this guide to learn how to change the language.

Volunteers

Volunteers play an important role in our school.  We are grateful to parents and community members who contribute their time and talents to supporting our students. In order to chaperone on field trips or work with students in small groups, you must be registered as a WCPSS volunteer. We ask all families who will be in our school to please register. This can be done by coming to school all summer between 9-2:00 to sign up. If you signed up last year, you will not have to do it again for the 22-23 school year. Please take the time to do this before school starts.

Before and Afterschool for the 22-23 School Year

Please complete this form if you are interested in Before and After-School Care for next year. They have not yet shared the rates for next year. They will have a registration fee of $15.00, but we are not collecting that money yet.
