Assistant Principal Update: We wish Mrs. Williams well on her new voyage in Human Resources.  I am excited to share that our interim Assistant Principal was named at the board meeting last night.  Ms. Monica Crews, retired WCPSS Assistant Principal, started today and will be here for a few weeks until the start date of our new AP.  Our interview panel had a successful day of interviewing yesterday and hope to be sharing the name of the next Assistant Principal at Penny Road following the board meeting in two weeks.

A few additional announcements:

- We have a TON of jackets in our Lost & Found without names in them.  Please have your child check for any missing items this week.  All remaining items will be donated on Friday.

- Please avoid taking a left out of the school during afternoon carpool.  Right turns only make for a much smoother flow.

- Students should not have cell phones at school.  Please note that a smartwatch is considered a cell phone unless it is in airplane mode.  If your child has a smart watch they want to wear to school, please make sure they are aware of this policy.
