We are so excited for another great week at Penny Road!

Our spring picture day is this Wednesday, March 1st.  Students will have individual pictures taken as well as class pictures.

I also wanted to share a quick note about screenings that occur at school.  WCPSS conducts universal dental screenings in kindergarten and universal distance vision screenings in first, third and fifth grades.  (Near and far vision screenings and hearing screenings may also be conducted at other times to help rule out being unable to see or hear well when we are supporting a student experiencing academic difficulties.) With any of these screenings, it is safe to assume that no news is good news.  If there is a concern discovered, parents will be notified directly.  More information can be found on the WCPSS website.
