Good Sunday evening families, this is Dr Jenkins and welcome to our Family Huddle!

It continues to be a busy but exciting time at Yates Mill. Last Thursday, 37 of our top student athletes competed in a districtwide First in Fitness competition at SE Raleigh HS and represented our school beautifully. Thank you, Ms. Reid, for stepping in and taking this over for us. 

Guess what, families? We are now gearing up for our Spring Festival and our school's 25th Birthday! This fun event will be held on Friday, April 25th from 5:30 to 8:00. Be sure you have this date on your calendar and bring the entire family out! The PTA welcomes more volunteers to help make this event epic.

En Yates Mill, seguimos con un tiempo muy ocupado pero emocionante. El jueves pasado, 37 de nuestros mejores estudiantes atletas participaron en la competencia distrital de Primeros en Aptitud Física en la Preparatoria SE Raleigh y representaron a nuestra escuela de manera excelente. Gracias, Sra. Reid, por participar y encargarse de esto.

¿Adivinen qué, familias? ¡Nos estamos preparando para nuestro Festival de Primavera y el 25.º aniversario de nuestra escuela! Este divertido evento se llevará a cabo el viernes 25 de abril de 5:30 a 8:00. ¡Asegúrense de anotar esta fecha en su calendario y traigan a toda la familia! La Asociación de Padres y Maestros (PTA) les da la bienvenida a más voluntarios para que este evento sea inolvidable.
