Hi Yates Mill Families,

 

This week I'm coming to you with a midweek family huddle regarding Open House, our first PTA meeting of the year and our brand-new school song. This first message is in English. 

 

On our website today as well as in an email, you will receive an updated flyer regarding Open House which will now take place next Wednesday, October 2nd. There is also a 20-minute video that you'll need to watch before attending Open House, please. This video was originally going to be shown during Open House. There are documents that will be referred to throughout the video. Those documents will be emailed to you today.

 

The Yates Mill PTA is conducting its first PTA meeting of the year tomorrow at 6:30pm. You can attend in person or online. The Google Meet link will also be in email and on our website. It truly takes all of us to raise the Yates Mill village so please join the team and become a part of this worthwhile organization. 

 

Lastly, I certainly hope you are ready to bring the family out to our Yates Mill Soccer Match on October 10th. On this evening, we are debuting our brand new school song, written and composed by our amazing music teacher, Mr. Cabezas. We are practicing the song here at school but guess what, we are also going to ask that you join in and sing with us that night. You guessed it, the song is also on our website and in the email.

Esta semana les traigo una reunión familiar a mitad de semana sobre la jornada de puertas abiertas, nuestra primera reunión de la PTA del año y nuestra nueva canción escolar. Este primer mensaje está en inglés.

 

En nuestro sitio web hoy, así como en un correo electrónico, recibirán un folleto actualizado sobre la jornada de puertas abiertas que ahora se llevará a cabo el próximo miércoles 2 de octubre. También hay un video de 20 minutos que deberán ver antes de asistir a la jornada de puertas abiertas, por favor. Este video originalmente se iba a mostrar durante la jornada de puertas abiertas. Hay documentos a los que se hará referencia a lo largo del video. Esos documentos se les enviarán por correo electrónico hoy.

 

La PTA de Yates Mill llevará a cabo su primera reunión del año mañana a las 6:30. Pueden asistir en persona o en línea. El enlace de Google Meet también estará en el correo electrónico y en nuestro sitio web. Realmente se necesita de todos, así que únanse al equipo y formen parte de esta valiosa organización.

Esta noche, estrenaremos nuestra nueva canción escolar, escrita y compuesta por nuestro increíble profesor de música, el Sr. Cabezas. Estamos practicando la canción aquí en la escuela, pero adivine qué, también te pediremos que te unas y cantes con nosotros esa noche.
