Dear Salem Families,
We are SO glad that so many families were able to join us for STEAM Night this past week! This is one of our favorite events each year and it was, again, an awesome night of engaging in STEAM learning here at Salem. Please take a moment to complete THIS very short survey (whether you were able to attend or not) so that we can continue to improve in providing meaningful ways for our school to engage with our students and families outside of school hours!
Have you seen our new Spirit Rock?! Thank you to our amazing PTA for getting this started for us at Salem! Parents, families, and staff members can learn more about this FUNdraising opportunity on the PTA website. We are so excited about this fun addition to our campus!
As the holiday season approaches, we’re excited to launch our annual Holiday Hugs gift program, a tradition that brings joy to our families needing some assistance with holiday gifts for their children this year. If you choose to sponsor, we will provide you with the child's clothing sizes and a few interests/wants. To sponsor a child, please fill out this Google form: https://forms.gle/7dJcTxb6TiYFF9Jw9 Once you sign up, Mrs. Allen (school social worker) will email you with the child's information and drop-off instructions. If you have any questions, you can email Mrs. Allen at kallen8@wcpss.net. Thank you for your generosity and kindness to help make this holiday season memorable for every child at Salem!

We are so thankful for Salem Elementary! And we’re so thankful for our families that support the PTA and everything we do for the school! We are teaming up with Papa Johns for a “Thankful For Salem Spirit Night” on Monday, November 25th. You’ll be so busy cooking for Thanksgiving later in the week… on Monday, grab a pizza for an easy dinner at ANY area location and Papa John’s is going to give back to Salem. Don’t forget to use our school’s promotion code (RSS011). Thank you for helping support the PTA. We are so thankful for all our families this season!
The Salem Elementary PTA is partnering with Regal Cinemas for an awesome fundraiser. From October 18 all the way through January 12, 2025, anytime you want to see a movie, please consider going to a Regal Cinemas and purchase your tickets in advance through the link provided below. Regal will give back to Salem Elementary PTA for every movie bundle purchase you make! Are you going to be traveling during the holidays?! That’s ok…. This fundraiser will work at Regals nationwide as long as the movie bundle is purchased using the link below.
This is going to be right in time for chilly weather, family holiday gatherings and some exciting movie releases that include: Transformers One, The Wild Robot, Gladiator II, Wicked, Moana 2, Mufasa: The Lion King, Sonic the Hedgehog 3, and so many more!!
