Dear Salem Families,
Fall is in full swing here in Apex and at Salem we are excited to be in the 2nd quarter of the school year. Many grade levels have field trips in the near future. Please make sure to reach out to your child’s teacher if you have any questions regarding these opportunities for students to engage in exciting learning opportunities off campus.
Have you seen our new Spirit Rock?! Thank you to our amazing PTA for getting this started for us at Salem! Parents, families, and staff members can learn more about this FUNdraising opportunity on the PTA website. We are so excited about this fun addition to our campus!
Additionally, be on the lookout for information from your child’s teacher about fall parent/teacher conferences! Teachers are currently scheduling in person and/or virtual conferences, which will continue taking place through November 22nd!

Please join us at Culver’s on Thursday, October 24th from 5:00-8:00pm for a burger, frozen custard, cheese curds or any of the yummy goodies from this Wisconsin-based gem! Mention Salem Elementary when you order and Culver’s will donate a portion of the proceeds back to the Salem Elementary PTA! Some of our very own Salem Family work at Culver’s and would be so excited if we found a few volunteers to help bus tables and/or greet families Thursday night! Additionally, Salem Elementary PTA is partnering with Regal Cinemas for an awesome fundraiser. From October 18 all the way through January 12, 2025, anytime you want to see a movie, please consider going to a Regal Cinemas and purchase your tickets in advance through the link provided below. Regal will give back to Salem Elementary PTA for every movie bundle purchase you make! Are you going to be traveling during the holidays?! That’s ok…. This fundraiser will work at Regals nationwide as long as the movie bundle is purchased using the link below.
This is going to be right in time for chilly weather, family holiday gatherings and some exciting movie releases that include: Transformers One, The Wild Robot, Gladiator II, Wicked, Moana 2, Mufasa: The Lion King, Sonic the Hedgehog 3, and so many more!! May 7th AND 8th - Night At The Arts from (Art Show 5:00 - 6:00 and Performance 6:30 - 7:15)
