  • Friday, March 18th, is a teacher workday.  Student do not report to campus that day.
  • Attention students who park on campus. This is a reminder that you should park in your assigned parking spots and have your parking tag visibly hanging every day. Those who fail to do so may receive a parking fine or risk having their parking privileges revoked with no refund. Also, a reminder that any unpaid fines at the end of the year will prevent a student from receiving their diploma at graduation. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. McCullough.
  • To support the Cary HS Women's soccer team, please order from Burrito Shak at 2982 Kildaire Farm Road between 4 and 9pm tomorrow.  A portion of all sales will go to the Cary HS women's soccer team.
  • There will be a scholarship Webinar for Latinx Seniors and Spanish-Speaking Students, tomorrow evening at 6pm.  CFNC Spanish services team will host a free Zoom webinar for Spanish speaking students and their parents on Scholarships for Hispanic students in NC.   This entire presentation will be in Spanish and you will learn about available scholarships,  discuss how to excel in your applications, where to look for scholarships and much more!   ZOOM Registration link  https://bit.ly/3onjAIA 
  • Attention AP Students & Parents: The Spring 2022 AP Exams will be administered during school as paper and pencil exams during the first two weeks of May: May 2 – 6 and May 9 – 13.  The College Board will be issuing late registration and unused exam fees again this year.  Students who do not register for their AP exam by Monday, March 14th and who register late, will be charged a $40 late fee.  Students who do not cancel their exam by Monday, March 14th and do not test in May, will be charged a $40 late fee by the College Board.   • Scholarships!

It is scholarship season! Seniors are encouraged to stop by the Student Services office to pick up scholarship applications and to keep checking their Class of 2022 Google Classroom for opportunities.  The Kassel A. Smit Make A Difference Scholarship application and several other applications are now available in the Student Services office and online! The Wake Tech Foundations Scholarship Applications is now open as well.  

  • SENIORS - REPORT YOUR SCHOLARSHIPS! 

We are excited to hear about the scholarship offers our seniors are receiving!  In order to celebrate your successes and accomplishments with you, we would love for you to submit information regarding any scholarship or grant you have been offered.

Please submit a new response for each scholarship or grant you receive using this link. You do not have to plan on accepting the scholarship/grant or be planning to attend the college to submit this form. You can submit all need-based, academic, artistic or athletic aid offered.

  • Ms. Waters is available each Wednesday to meet with students and/or their families to complete the FAFSA. To set up an appointment, please email her at swaters@wcpss.net .
  • CFNC Next Step Program (Juniors)

Cary High School has been selected as one of 40 high schools in North Carolina to participate in the CFNC Next Step Program. This self-paced online program walks JUNIOR students and parents through 6 steps to get students started on your higher education journey.  Get started by filling out the 2022 Next Step Form

  • Registration for the 2022-2023 school year is underway! Counselors are currently meeting with 9th and 10th grade students during their 2nd period class.  Juniors should sign up for an individual Junior Conference with their counselor using links posted on the Student Services website. We encourage all parents to discuss course selections with their student. 
  • Tuition-free Courses

Career and College Promise (CCP) is a statewide dual enrollment program that allows eligible students to take tuition-free college classes while earning both high school credit and college hours.  The Wake Tech Summer & Fall Enrollment Cycle has begun!   • Wake Tech will be holding an Open House at 2 of their campuses on Saturday, April 9th.  For more information, visit this Wake Tech website
