9/7 Principal's Message
Happy Thursday Alston Ridge Families!:
A reminder that this evening (Thursday, 9/7) will be our school’s Math Curriculum Night—we hope to see families for a great community event! The Math Curriculum Night is a chance for families to learn about how to support their child’s mathematical practice at home, and to hear about how faculty are teaching students at Alston Ridge. Please let us know that you’ll be joining us tonight—it’s not too late! (Event RSVP)
The grade-level Math Night learning sessions will begin promptly at 6 p.m. and will last 45 minutes. Please arrive early to be able to participate in the whole session. Virtual sessions are available for families who are not able to return to the school building and the content will be posted to grade level websites after sessions have completed.
Following the Math Curriculum Night session, Tracks 3 & 4 will hold Open House sessions beginning at 6:55 p.m. and repeated at 7:25 p.m. for families with multiple siblings at Alston Ridge.
To allow families to participate in sessions, students will have the chance to return to school and will be supervised by Alston Ridge faculty during the presentations. Younger children ages 2-4 are also able to come to school for childcare provided by our NW Cary YMCA and Cary Teen Council (Childcare RSVP).
5:45 p.m. Doors Open-Welcome Families
6:00 p.m. Curriculum Night Presentations (in-person & live virtual option - 45 minutes)

We can’t wait to see our families back at school for these presentations and a chance to come together as a community.
We’ll see you soon!
Sincerely,
Niko
