6/2 Principal Message
Alston Ridge Alligators:
We have so much to celebrate in these coming weeks! Our students have continued to show determination and excellence in these waning days of 2018-2019 and we thank all parents for supporting them to have consistent attendance and helping them be ready to learn each day.
Thank you also for your enthusiasm about our new year and a new chapter at Alston Ridge. We will host our Meet the Teacher and the First Day of School for our 10th year in just 37 days!
The following are a few notes and reminders that are relevant to the coming weeks:
EOG Testing Schedule
Due to EOG Testing: On June 17-24, no visitation will be permitted during the lunch periods.
Alston Ridge PTA General Meeting
The PTA is not the PTA if it does not represent all parents. The PTA needs you! Come Monday, June 3rd at 6 pm to help decide budget priorities, leadership, and a vision for community empowerment at Alston Ridge Elementary School. Thank you for your partnership in your child’s school and education.
Volunteers Needed for Grade 5 Picnics and Celebrations
The Alston Ridge PTA still needs your help. A note from the organizers of the Grade 5 festivities: “Please consider volunteering on the day your child is not graduating to give the parent volunteers, whose children ARE graduating, a chance to enjoy their child's special day. Thank you in advance for all you do for our children and our school!” PTA Volunteer Sign-up
